Hello Louise, tell us briefly about your meeting and your engagement please?

I met my lover during my studies, his British charm so « Colin Firth »  got me! 5 years later, he asked me to marry him. I had been talking about marriage for quite a while, but in the end nothing came of it!

If you had to tell us a precious memory of your wedding in a few words, what would it be?

The dinner of our wedding which followed the civil ceremony: only the close family and our witnesses were present. It was a very intimate and loving moment, it gave us a great breath of fresh air before we embarked on the big wedding day the next day!

When did you know you had found YOUR dress and what advice would you give to brides-to-be who are still looking for theirs?

I went to a few wedding dress shops, with more or less success. I suffered enough during the first fittings, in shops that only offered size 36 and made me very uncomfortable: I didn’t imagine myself as a bride at all… And then, I opened the door of at Anne’s, who had dresses of all shapes, in all sizes, and especially nimble fingers! A sleeve here, a ribbon there, change the buttons, and voila! I immediately went back with my mum, who adored Anne at first sight (and her dresses!!!) Even dad and mother-in-law came from France and England to take advantage of the fittings and meet Anne!

Do you have any service providers to recommend?

I have three amazing women to recommend:

• Queen to be (back then Elsa Gary by Anne), of course for the magnificent dress that we imagined together and especially for her advice! I would never have chosen a close-fitting dress without Anne. She wanted me to try on THE dress and it was love at first sight! Just by looking at me, she understood what I wanted, without me knowing it! Many thanks Anne!

• Elodie from Elodie Love Tralala, a secular ceremony officiant, wedding planner and crazy decorator!!!!! be careful, prepare your tissues, no one can resist her words of exceptional accuracy!

• Kasia Bacq for the photography, I believe that the photos speak for themselves… Kasia knew how to put us at ease the very moment we met her! and yet it wasn’t easy!
